This broom asked to be made quite a while ago when I didn’t have the heart to make anything at all. I’d lost a home, a familiar, a long held dream, and much more that continued to unravel over the months that followed. But the thing that stuck out to me through it all is how protected I was in this place of decay. Once I finally allowed my hands to create again, I knew this piece had to be made. Porcupine quills are such wonderful allies in the area of protection as they’re extremely sharp and aimed at their target once boundaries are crossed. 
***The stitching houses a porcupine quill for boundaries and protection while the handle is woven in with black nylon cord. Happy sweeping :) ***
